You may think it peculiar, that nowadays when an increasing number of people are better educated, they do not maintain their bodies as well as they deserve. The analogy holds true because naturally grown fruit and vegetables are so much superior if you want to be naturally healthy. Think about the smell of fresh fruit, such as a sliced banana, or fresh prime pears. Appreciate the inherent beauty of this sort of food, and compare it with the smell of over-heated lard. Take heed of the recommendation to consume between 5 – 9 fruits and vegetables per day, and try to err towards the top of the range.
